Hi all! I hope your weeks are starting out smashingly! In the last email that was sent out, it stated that the first HT would be held on 2/10. Ummm, I was wrong. I am so sorry about the confusion, but since we meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month, the first HT of the Spring semester will be held 2/17. I apologize if this has caused you any inconvenience! Also, if anyone is able to host, please shoot me an email. Thanks so, so much!

Wow, the last few weeks of our new series Sexperiement & the 24hour bed-in have been filled with so much information to bring our marriages to the next level! Hopefully, you have picked up a copy of  Sexperiement that we will be using during the HT Spring semester. If not, it’s not too late to pick it up in the Source!   

Not only is the Super Bowl party (2/5/12) and the first HT meeting (2/10/12) right around the corner, but C3 Conference is just a short 2 weeks away on Wednesday, February 15 through Friday, February 17. FC would love for anyone that can be apart of serving during the conference to volunteer for a shift or two…or ten! If you are attending the conference, there are shifts available for serving before or after C3 day sessions as well. We have the opportunity to serve at Fellowship Church as church leaders from around the world come together to learn from the most influential pastors and communicators of our generation!

How to Serve: Pick a shift or more below and email Lori Lesnansky (lori.lesnansky@fellowshipchurch.com) and she will get you all of the volunteering info.

Happy 2012! I you had a wonderful holiday season and have recovered from all of the fun holiday madness!

During the Spring 2012 semester, all married HTs will do the same study, Sexperiment. Sexperiment  releases January 10th, and will include 5 lesson that take us “back to the original design for having an intimate relationship according to God. And by challenging husbands and wives to strengthen their connection, the book helps strengthen marriages and unite the bond of matrimony!” The book can be picked up in the source after the release date.

HT will kick-off with a Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 5th, hosted by Carson and Jesica (thanks, guys!) We will resume HT meetings beginning the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month after the Super Bowl party with 2/17 being the first meeting date. Look for an Evite soon with all of the Super Bowl party details!

**FC will offer a new Marriage Support Group that will be led by professional counselors beginning Wednesday, Jan 25 starting at 7 pm at the Grapevine campus- chapel. For more information and to  register for the support group visit www.fellowshipchurch.com/marriagesupportgroup. If you feel you are struggling in your marriage, begin to pray and consider taking advantage of the Marriage Support group.  Childcare will be available for this group.**

This weekend, November 12-13, FC is serving communion in all worship experiences and could use your help (unless you are already serving somewhere). You would arrive 30 minutes prior to the worship experience you are serving in for a training time so you’ll be ready to rock and roll. Hi All!

We missed seeing everyone at the last home team meeting! I heard it was amazing and the Wrights did a wonderful job leading. Thanks everyone for stepping up and making it happen while we were away! Please make note of the following announcements. 

HT Meeting
The next HT meeting is October 21, 2011 at 7:30pm. The McCaslands will be hosting and bringing snacks (thanks, guys!!!). Their address is 1722 Briaroaks Drive Flower Mound 75028. Keep an eye on your email for an Evite and RSVP so we have an idea of  how many will be attending (this really helps the snack providers!)

The Great TREAT-tastic Adventure
Fun for the kids of the house!  On October 29 & 30^th during all FCKIDS services, Fellowship will have candy, costumes, prizes, scavenger hunts, costume contests, and a bring a friend contest.  They are asking that our FC HTs come together and donate peanut-free, individually wrapped candy in unopened candy bag.  If you are able to help out, please bring the candy to the next HT meeting. The candy can also be dropped off at the information kiosk or volunteer central.

Our next HomeTeam will be this Friday, 7 October, at 7:30pm! We feel like we haven’t seen you guys in FOREVER! We will, unfortunately, be out of town, so Carson and Jesica are going to lead the second lesson in our current study, Virtuous Reality.

Here’s the rub: we need a place to meet, and someone to bring snacks! Can anyone out there host for us? Who would like to bring a little something to nosh, and who would like to bring drinks?

It has been a long, hot summer, and we have missed you guys so, so much. We can’t wait to see all of you at the kick-off BBQ/potluck this weekend! Bring your favorite dish and let’s get this party started! Kids are welcome.

HT Date Night- Friday, September 9, 7:00pm
Main Event? Dinner and a movie? Let’s leave the kids at home and enjoy a night out as couples! If you have any ideas for a fun activity, suggestions are much appreciated.

HT Meeting- Friday, September 16, 7:30pm
As a HT, we meet every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. The 1st Friday of September is Labor Day weekend, so our first HT meeting will be the 3rd Friday of September. We can’t wait to get started on a new series. If anyone has an idea for a FC small group series, please pass on your ideas!

Men’s Conference 2011- Friday, September 30-Saturday, October 1
The Men’s Conference is 24 hours of testosterone-fueled MAN STUFF combining intensity, entertainment, teaching and worship. You can register today at http://www.fellowshipchurch.com/mensconference. Are you staying cool in the middle of this heat wave? We wanted to send out a quick note to update you on the restart of HomeTeam this fall. We’re looking to begin meeting again in September, and are planning a get-together towards the end of August, so keep your eyes peeled for another update as we get a little closer!
